THE OFFICIAL HOME
OF THE PALM LEAGUE

About the League
In 2019, seven private schools in Palm Beach, Broward, and Miami-Dade County decided to join together to form the a league. The intent was to create a competitive athletic conference to meet the needs of academically aligned institutions in Southeast Florida, and as the Florida High School Athletic Association (FHSAA) transitioned its regular season structure and State Series seeding criteria, this presented an opportunity to establish structured regular season league play and conference championships. Thus, the Palm League was formed, and began competition in the 2019-20 academic school year.
The seven charter members of the PL were:
-
The Benjamin School (Palm Beach County)
-
Gulliver Preparatory Schools (Miami-Dade County)
-
Miami Country Day School (Miami-Dade County)
-
North Broward Preparatory School (Broward County)
-
Oxbridge Academy (Palm Beach County)
-
Pine Crest School (Broward County)
-
Saint Andrew’s School (Palm Beach County)
In 2021, three more schools were added:
-
Palmer Trinity (Miami-Dade County)
-
Ransom Everglades School (Miami-Dade County)
-
University School (Broward County)
In its inaugural year, the Palm League competed in 17 sports: Girls Volleyball, Girls and Boys Swimming & Diving, Girls and Boys Cross Country, Girls and Boys Golf, Girls and Boys Soccer, Girls and Boys Basketball, Girls and Boys Tennis, Girls and Boys Track & Field, and Girls Softball and Boys Baseball.
As the league has evolved, championship tournaments have become more exciting and continue to bring out the best in our member schools' student-athletes. Palm League schools have produced State Champions (both Team and Individual), numerous All-County, All-District, All-Region, and All-State accolades, and many professionals currently playing today.
